- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆In my opinion, US Bank is one of the most underhanded and evil financial institutions in the country. They charge exorbitant overdraft fees, charge for checking accounts, hit you for 1 dollar fees of you use a non-company ATM, and other small penalties whenever they can. - ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Apparently you cannot call the phone numbers listed for your branch. I got a recording telling me they could not answer my phone call and then it rambled on and on. I also tried calling the phone number listed on the paperwork asking for more information. That number doesn't work either. They simply cannot answer their phone.
